Do you want to stop wars? Wars are a terrible tragedy of the human race. It is so unfortunate that we kill our own species on such a massive scale, as if we did not have anything else to worry about. The human race lives on the surface of the planet and we deal with all sorts of events from Mother Nature; Diseases, Extreme Weather, Floods and Earthquakes and as if all that were not enough; we build guns, tanks, aircraft and bombs to kill each other? Too bad really, although only one percent of all the people who have lived during recorded and available written history have died in a war, that does not make is any more sane. Indeed, some could say war is completely insane and it ought to stop. Surely it should. Although war is and has been labeled a weapon of political will, when negotiation cannot be reached and an impasse has occurred, when there appears to be no other option or one side bluffs to hard, we send our young men to slaughter the enemy. Indeed often enough we lose a few of our own, sometimes thousands and no war is not pretty and yes, it does suck you are right. One way we can all prevent wars is to disallow a few people to get in the way and cause a culture clash. For instance the radicalists of the International Terrorism prevent the reaching out and joining hands to make the world a great place for all. Think on it. |
