Class c fires are electrical firs like electrical equipment, motors, appliances and other electrically energized fires. Class d fires are combustible metals like aluminum, sodium and potassium. Class k fires are fires in oils and fats like cooking oils.

The more you know about fire and lightning the better you will be able to arm yourself against them. Fire extinguishers are very inexpensive and easy to use so go ahead and learn all you can.
