Personal shavers have come a long way if you consider what you had to use in the past. Today you can get a real close trim or amazingly smooth shave without the worry of ingrown hairs, rashes or bumps. Thats right! The latest personal shavers are made in such a way that it is virtually impossible for it to nick or cut you in any way. All of these great features allow you to now have a much quicker shave and still be able to achieve the same results as you would with a wet shave, minus the potential pain that comes with it.

One does however have to be careful when buying a personal shaver. Like most products out there, buying a poor quality product can give you a totally wrong impression over-all on that type of product, hence, buying a poor quality shaver might lead you to believe that all personal shavers are bad and can never compare to older methods of pubic hair removal.

Let us take a look at what a good quality shaver should have.

Most importantly is the company you are buying the product from. What type of feed-back are you able to find when you do research on that company? How long have they been in business for? How cheap or expensive are their products? Too cheap could mean bad quality. Too expensive could mean rip off. What type of service does the personal shaver company have to offer? What type of guarantee or warrantee do they offer? Will the company charge you an arm and a leg for a new razor blade when needed?

From un-bias reviews, can you gather if the shaver does actually do what they claim it can do? Are they as safe as the company claims them to be? Are the personal shavers designed in such a way so that it is virtually impossible to cut or nick yourself when shaving those very delicate parts of your body? Will the shaver help prevent ingrown hairs or make it worse?

It is fair to say that not all of these questions can be answered without actually buying the product and testing it out. This is the main reason why I suggest researching the company you are interested in purchasing the personal shaver from. If they have a good name amongst the shaving community, and if they offer some type of warrantee or guarantee, then there is no real risk of buying the product and testing it out for your self.
